Milestones

1923 Establishment of a pharmacy in the very heart of old Athens by Nicolas Gerolymatos, father of the current president.



1958 Establishment of the first commercial company P.N. Gerolymatos Ltd.



1968 Establishment of P.N. Gerolymatos S.A.

1982 Inauguration of  the Group's first plant - a 6,000 sq. m manufacturing facility for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in Kryoneri, Athens.
1993 Inauguration of a new office complex adjacent to the manufacturing facility in Kryoneri, Athens.

1998 Acquisition of GlaxoWellcome's manufacturing facilities and administration building in Kryoneri, Athens.

1999 Inauguration of the "Acropolis" office complex  in Kryoneri, Athens.
  Establishment of Gerolpharm S.A., in Athens, Greece
2000 Establishment of subsidiaries in Turkey - Genesis Ilac & the USA - Gerolymatos Inc.

2001 Further expansion of manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of a third manufacturing facility in Menidi.
  Inauguration of the "Aeolos" building in Kryoneri, Athens.

2002 Acquisition of the 8,000 sq. m. Inofyta facility, located on the Athens - Salonica highway.
  Acquisition of new offices and warehouses in Salonica, Greece.

2003 Further expansion of the Group's campus in Kryoneri with the addition of "Dedalos", a 6,000 sq. m. office and warehouse facility.
2004 Further expansion abroad with the acquisition of a minority stake in Foltene Labs S.p.A., an Italian manufacturer and distributor of specialized hair products against hair loss.
2005 Acquisition of majority stake in Foltene Labs S.p.A.
  Establishment of Santa Pharma S.A., in Athens, Greece, a pharmaceutical company focused on pharmaceutical products for the Greek market.
2006 Launch of Sinomarin in the USA.
  Acquisition of 50% of Ultimode Limited, a company engaged in the marketing of Cosmetics in the Balkans.
2007 Finalization of the corporate restructuring plan.
  Acquisition of 50% of Genesis Labs Limited, a company engaged in the marketing of primarily OTC products based in Hong Kong.
  Acquisition of Palcrest Limited. This company has a majority equity stake in Laboratories Actions Innovations Medicales – Groupe Gerolymatos which is based in France.
  Equity investment by NBGI SEE Development Fund LP.
2008 Acquisition of Natural Pharma S.A. This company based in Switzerland is the sole shareholder of Larus Pharma S.r.L. Larus Pharma is based in Italy and is engaged in the development and marketing of various mosquito repellents and various other products.
  Acquisition of Health Logistics Hellas S.A. This company owns a warehouse and distribution center in Inofyta.
  Establishment of PNG Gerolymatos Medical, a company engaged in the marketing of pharmaceuticals.
  Launch of Sinomarin in Greece.
  Inauguration of Gerolpharm’s new facility which includes state-of-the-art automation.
