The name Gerolymatos has been associated with the animal health industry
for over four decades. The cornerstone of the Company’s Animal Health
Division can be traced back to the business relationship that started
with Rhone-Merieux and continues today with the successor firm, Merial,
a leading international animal health company.
Over the years the Animal Health Division has augmented its product
portfolio with proprietary products and has also expanded its business
collaborations. Today, the Division has several partnerships with
leading international animal health companies, such as Merial and is
active in both the companion animal and livestock sectors with a
comprehensive range of products.
The Division's mission is to provide products and solutions to
veterinarians that enhance the health and performance of companion
animals, lead to the ultimate satisfaction of pet owners, and improve
the productivity of the local livestock industry.
Product portfolio includes the Frontline product line of veterinary
pesticides, which ranks No.1 both worldwide and in Greece, the leading
antiparasitic medicine Valaneq (Ivomec), as well as vaccines for
companion animals and livestock.
The Division's wide range of pharmaceuticals, vaccines and nutritional
lines, coupled with an unrelenting focus on customer service and an
experienced sales force and management team, which includes several
veterinarians, have fuelled exceptional sales growth in recent years and
have placed PNG Gerolymatos’ Animal Health Division in a leadership
position in the Greek veterinary market, ranking 1st in the companion
animals segment and 2nd in overall market share.
